Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Fitness Consulting

I became a nutrition, weight loss, and fitness consultant completely by accident. I started out as a personal consultant and spiritual counselor, making a variety of videos online about living a better life. Guess which videos blew up? The ones about diet and weight loss!
I’ve been down this rabbit hole since I was a kid. My dad sold supplements, mom was a nurse, so I grew up surrounded by the science of nutrition, how the body works, and “Why our company’s supplements work best.” I’ve experimented heavily with a variety of diets, and not eating at all! Keto, paleo, low carb, high carb, the wet cardboard diet, carnivore, intermittent fasting, gut health and microbiome-focused protocols. Which one is the best? That depends on you… and your history. Compliance is the biggest issue, which is why I meet people where they’re at and aim for creating lifelong habit changes. We can go cold turkey or ease into it. I suggest easing into it. I’m not a fan of simply telling people what to do. I’d rather educate and let you connect the dots, the results last longer.

Your ability to think clearly, keep anxiety and stress at bay, and stay motivated is very closely tied to your consumption. If something is wrong, it’s likely something you’re consuming, or something that’s consuming you (stress, anxiety, fear). It’s a vicious cycle. Western medicine will often say your obesity or chronic ailments are the results of genetics. I used to be fat, my doctors told me it was genetic. Where’s my fat gene now? Just because you have a gene, doesn’t mean you need to express it. What determines your genetic expression? The environment, aka epigenetics, aka things you put into your body’s environment and external environmental stimuli.

Take a look at the obesity and chronic disease epidemic happening around you. It’s not an easy addiction to break and it kills many more people than all drug and alcohol addiction combined. Food addiction is the deadliest and at the same time, the most socially acceptable addiction the modern world is facing. I’ve known plenty of people with life-threatening diseases caused by their food addiction who can’t give it up and have accepted their “fate”. Some have died, and many are the living dead, with barely enough energy to get through the day. If any of this sounds familiar, perhaps I can help.
A quick 15-minute call is usually all it takes to see if we’re a good fit. From there, we can decide if we want to team up, or if you just need a friendly nudge in the right direction.
